Plans for a new Las Vegas festival called The Festsome in 2017 have been put on hold because of health concerns.
The Las Vegas Sun reports that the city’s Department of Health has confirmed the festival will not be able to take place in 2019 because of the Zika virus outbreak in the area.
Officials say they are working on a new festival that will take place from March 1-4, 2021.
They are still working on plans for the future, but the city says it will not reopen until 2019.
The Festsomem is expected to feature acts from both bands and bands that were not originally scheduled to perform.
The event is scheduled to take over the MGM Grand Garden Arena and the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Organizers of The Famsome told the Sun they would like to re-open in 2019 but there are no guarantees.
